The Hill Club Sri Lanka

The first or founding members were most if not all at that time coffee, cinchona or tea planters who were either Englishmen or Scots. The original building which served as a club house was centered around the present billiard room. Situated on a promontory of 26 acres of land at the base of a wooded hillside, the Hill Club looks over the town of Nuwara Eliya and consists of  39 cozily appointed bedrooms with hot/cold water, each equipped with television and telephone facility , including two suites on
