A combination of the colorful Rajasthan with an awe inspiring gathering at the famous Pushkar (Cattle Fair) mela at Pushkar. The very colors of the local people gathered for the purpose of trading their cattle’s in a desert land leaves visitors running helter skelter for photographs. A must for those who have not witnessed a gathering of overzealous people.

After breakfast visit New Delhi, where you shall visit Humayun's tomb. Built in 1565 by Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, the first great example of Mughal garden tomb and inspiration for several later monuments. This type of garden is known as a charbagh and is based on a grid. Continue visit of the Parliament Buildings including North & South block which house several ministries as well as the Prime Minister's Office.
Later visit India Gate. A massive red sandstone arch, built to commemorate the Indian and British soldiers who died in World War I.
PM visit Old Delhi. Here you shall visit the Jama Masjid. This grand mosque was built by Emperor Shah Jahan, with three imposing black and white marble domes, and twin minarets framing its great central arch.
Later enjoy Rickshaw ride through streets of Chandni Chowk. Its most elegant boulevard laid out in 1648 and is lined with grand shops and mansions.
Also visit Raj Ghat, site of Mahatama Gandhi's cremation. It’s a sombre, black granite platform.

After breakfast, visit Qutab Minar a UNESCO World Heritage. It is five storeyed Victory Tower to announce the advent of Muslim sultans. Later visit Lotus temple or the Baha’I House of worship, designed by Iranian architect Fariburz Sahba. The Baha’I sect originatedin Persia and is based on a view of humanity as one single race, a world where silence and order prevails.

Delhi – Agra (205 Kms & 4 Hrs)
Morning leave for Agra, en-route visit Itimad-UD-DAUlAH, also known as the "Baby Taj", it is the first tomb in India built entirely in white marble. It was built in 1628 by Nurjahan, wife of Emperor Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, an Imperial Officer who had received the title of Itmad-ud-Daula (Pillar of Government).On arrival check into your hotel.
Later visit the Red Fort a UNESCO World Heritage. It’s built on the banks of the river Yamuna. Its imposing red sandstone ramparts form a crescent along the river front and encompass an enormous complex of courtly buildings, ranging in style from the early eclecticism of Akbar to the sublime elegance of Shah Jahan. Visit the gloriously inlaid Musamman Burj, a double-storeyed octagonal tower with clear views of the Taj.

Agra – Jaipur (235 Kms & 6 Hrs)
Early morning visit the Taj Mahal a UNESCO World Heritage. Built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Its an image of the Islamic Garden Paradise, an enduring monument of love continually fulfilling beauty in white marble. To the poet Tagore it was " A Tear Drop in the face of eternity". Pietra dura has been extensively used to translate naturalistic forms into decorative patters that complement the majesty of its architecture.
Later leave for Jaipur, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri's BULAND DARWAZA, built by Emperor Akbar in honour of Salim Chisti a famous sufi saint. Its architecture is a blend of Hindu and Islamic styles. The Buland Darwaza, erected by Akbar to mark his conquest over Gujarat is a huge gateway.
En-route to Jaipur, visit the stepwell at Abhaneri. On arrival at Jaipur, check into your hotel.

AM excursion to Amber fort. En-route photostop at Hawa Mahal known as “the Palace of Winds”, with its ornate pink facade has become an icon for the city. The tiered Baroque like composition of projecting windows and balconies is five storeys high.
Amber Fort a UNESCO World Heritage which is at a short distance of 11 kms from Jaipur. The old capital of the Kachhwahas stands atop a range of craggy hills. You can take elephant ride from the base of the fort to the hilltop. Fort offers panoramic view of Maota Lake and the historic old town at the base of the hill. Embark on an Elephant ride to the top of the Fortress.
PM visit city palace & observatory. The sprawling complex is a superb blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, with open airy Mughal - style public buildings leading to private apartments. Its treasures, which include miniature paintings, manuscripts, Mughal carpets, musical instruments, royal costumes and weaponry, provide a splendid introduction to Jaipur's princely past, and it’s fascinating arts and crafts.
Jantar Mantar a UNESCO World Heritage, translated into 'Instruments of Measuring the Harmony of the Heavens', it was built by Sawai Jai Singh II between 1728 and 1734. Jantar Mantar is a grand celebration of astronomical science and each instrument here perform a particular function and gives an accurate reading.
Later visit the markets of Jaipur famous for their exquisite carpets, clothes, jewelry etc.

Jaipur – Pushkar (147 Kms & 3 Hrs)
Morning drive to Pushkar. A peaceful pilgrimage town of lakes & 400 temples, Pushkar derives its name from Pushpa (flower) and kar (hand) after a legend that claims its lakes were created from the petals that fell from the divine hands of Brahma the Creator.
On arrival, check into your hotel. PM visit the Pushkar fair grounds where you could witness the buying & selling of cattles, camels etc.
In the Hindu month of Kartik (Oct / Nov), this peaceful town and its environs come alive as villagers with herds of cattle, horses and camels who come here to participate in this spectacular event.

Pushkar – Jodhpur (265 Kms & 6 Hrs)
Morning drive to Jodhpur, en-route visit Ajmer, famous for its holy muslim shrine, Dargah Sharif, the tomb of the great sufi saint, Khwaja Moinuddin.
On arrival at Jodhpur, check into your hotel. PM walk through the market place to the city center. Overnight at the hotel.
Jodhpur – Udaipur (275 Kms & 6 Hrs)
AM visit the Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in India that is just incomparable as far as its beauty and grandeur is concerned. Founded by Rao Jodha in 1459,the sandstone fort was added to by later rulers, Mostly between the Mid - 17th and Mid -19th centuries.The Royal Apertment within the fort now from part of an outstanding museum.
Also visit Jaswant Thada. The elegant pillared marble memorial with fiine lattice carving is the Chhatri of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.Whose innovative irrigation schemes brought water and prosperity to this parched land. Later walk through the market to the city center.
Later leave for Udaipur. En-route visit the Jain temples at Ranakpur. On arrival at Udaipur , check into your hotel.

AM visit the City Palace stretching along the eastern shore of Lake Pichola, Udaipur's it is a fascinating combination of Rajput Military architecture and Mughal Styal decorative techniques. The city actually a complex of several palaces built or added to by different Maharajas between the 16th and 20th centuries.
Also visit Saheliyon ki Bari. The delightful 18th century retreat in the north of the city has ornamental fountains a lotus pool and a rose garden. It was built for a queen of Udaipur.
PM enjoy Boat ride on Lake Pichola. It was enlarged by Maharaja Udai Singh II after he founded the city. He built a masonry dam, known as the Badipol, and the lake is now 4km long and 3 km wide. Nevertheless, it remains fairly shallow and can actually dry up - in severe droughts it's possible to walk to Jagniwas and Jagmandir island.
